i was looking forward to a swim, but the pool was overrun with kids (i swear, there were more splashing toddlers than actual water). also, the breakfast buffet, while extensive, had some items that seemed like they'd been sitting out since last tuesday. and while the location is central, finding parking nearby seemed like navigating a maze.

the breakfast had a very good choice of local and international products. the staff was professional. the location is in the heart of the city.
i requested a quiet room. i got a room at the back of the hotel and it was directly below the power unit for the swimming pool. it made a continuous rumbling noise , made it impossible to sleep.

The hotel provided complimentary bottles of water. This was acceptable.
I requested a quiet room, but this was not accommodated. i was placed in a room directly below the swimming pool power unit. this caused a continuous rumbling noise, disturbing my sleep. It was odd to be given such a room after requesting quiet, especially if other rooms were available.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast had a wonderful selection. i also really appreciated the low light that came on automatically in the bathroom at night. I didn't need to search for a light switch at all (what a relief!).
The air conditioning was a bit difficult to adjust. I struggled to find a comfortable setting.

the deluxe family room included comfortable beds and ample space. there were also various pillow options, which was good because i could choose a firmer one. the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with toiletries.

the hotel is centrally located near historical attractions and restaurants. it was very easy to walk to the old town and explore the area. taxi service to the airport took just about 15 minutes.

the hotel had a nice spa area, though i did not have time to try it. the gym was well-equipped with modern machines. the lobby and bar areas were comfortable and inviting.

breakfast offered an excellent and varied selection of items. the restaurant on the first floor offered great desserts. i thought their honey cake and cheesecake were absolutely amazing.

staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. they allowed early check-in at 11 am. this allowed us to leave luggage and start our exploration sooner.
